On Saturday, February 6th, the celebrity couple Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy hosted the "Saturday Night Charity Spectacular", an event in Downtown Miami that would raise money for McCarthy's autism charity, "Generation Rescue", as well as kick off the 2010 Super Bowl. , featured a poker tournament as well as a live performance by Cirque USA. McCarthy, who strongly supports the cause, explained on the red carpet that her son suffers from autism, and feels that there is hope for all those who suffer from the disease. The ambassadors to the event, Mr. and Mrs. Chow, made the first appearance of the evening, kicking off the celebrations.
